I’m a freelance makeup artist, based in Essex. Educated at Illamasqua’s, ‘School of makeup’ in London. During this time, I learnt a whole host of invaluable lessons, including a range of core techniques in beauty, creative makeup and skincare. Trained by makeup artists at the peek of their profession, with years of experience within the industry.

Since then I have been practicing, developing and perfecting my craft aiming to be precision prefect. Experimenting with different products, styles and application on a wide range of ethnicities and ages. I’m always interested in learning more about makeup, keeping up with key trends but also drawing inspiration from different eras. My favourites being the swinging 1920s with their dark, matt, smokey, round eyes. And the finite detail and precision beauty of 1950s pinups. I am forever researching my favourite artists and their work. I admirer the likes of Alex Box, who I was lucky enough to meet earlier this year. Pablo Manzoni creator of Twiggy’s iconic cut-crease look and many more.  All top of their field, not merely for applying makeup but creating distinctive looks and master pieces in their own right.

I have built good experience from freelance opportunities I have been given including weddings, birthdays and various fashion shoots. The later is where my real passion lies and I have a strong desire to develop my skills further in the fashion and music industries with both static shots and film. I have an exceptionally high attention to detail, coupled with creativity, which enables me to create unique and inspiring looks for all occasions. I am equally passionate about make up brands, products and applications as I am about making people look and feel good and enjoy pushing my own artistic limits. Whilst I do follow and enjoy new fashions and trends I am also inspired by past eras and iconic figures such as Louise Brooks and Twiggy, drawing from this I am able to create new, fresh looks that have a lasting impact on the model and those who get to appreciate the visual. I am very sociable and enjoy working with people, but am very self motivated constantly working on new ideas and projects.

I always like to create a relaxing environment where people can feel comfortable having their makeup done. Above all I value the chance of making people look and feel their best. Achieved by gauging the client’s wants and needs and combining those with my expertise of what will suit them.

I’m excited to see where my job will lead me and the people I will meet along the way. Hopefully, I will achieve and reach my dreams of having my work show cased on cover magazines, on the red carpet and in music videos, in the near future.
